I painted this piece to honor the grit, hard work, and industrial roots of the American landscape.
Instead of traditional canvas, I used an actual classic bandana as the surface, stretching it out to create a distinct, textured backdrop. The painting features a detailed, hand-painted oil pump jack working against a bold American flag sky. Look closely, and you can see the fabric’s original white bandana patterns subtly peeking through the stars and stripes, blending textile art with rustic machinery.
It is a powerful statement piece that celebrates heritage and industry, making it a perfect addition to a home office, den, or living room.
